Wilfred HaleMay the shelter above you hold firm, dear soul. A roof marks the place where your inner world meets the sky, holding the strength that keeps your life whole.
When this roof fails, the sense of security that defines your household is shaken. This dream reveals a moment where the highest part of your sanctuary no longer offers its full strength. A light is offered through the openness that follows, for even in the loss of a ceiling, the heart finds a way to look toward the heavens.
The movement of climbing on a roof or jumping off a roof shifts the focus from the shelter itself to your own daring or your desire to escape the boundaries of your current state.
A roof collapsing brings the weight of a sudden trial upon your spirit, as the very structure meant to shield you gives way.
The experience of a roof blown off leaves your sanctuary stripped bare, as if the wind has taken away the protection you once relied upon.
When a roof on fire burns, your inner life is caught in a sudden, consuming trial that tests the very core of your peace.
A broken roof shows that the strength of your shelter is no longer whole, leaving your life vulnerable to the elements.
A roof leaking means that the peace you have worked to contain is slowly trickling away through small, unnoticed gaps.
The act of building a roof shows a soul actively working to restore order and establish a new sense of safety.
You find yourself being stuck on a roof, a state where your ability to move forward in your life is halted by a barrier you cannot easily cross.
Wilfred HaleInterpreter interprets your dreams
Peace to your evening, dear soul. A dream is like a lamp left in a window. It shows the shape of the room more than the shape of the night outside. What frightened you in it holds no weight of its own and may be set down at the door. Whatever was good in it can be kept and given thanks for. The rest can be trusted to the morning.
