This page explains what information Dream Oracle collects when you visit the site or write to us, how it is used and who else may see it. By using the site you agree to the practices described here.
Information Collection and Use
When you send a dream through the comment form, we receive the name you enter and the text you write. We do not ask for your email address, phone number or postal address. Every message is read before it is published, and a published message shows only the name you chose and what you wrote.
Log Data
Whenever you visit the site, your browser sends information that is called Log Data. This may include your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit and the time spent on those pages. We use it to keep the site running and secure.
Cookies
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Dream Oracle itself does not need cookies to be read. Our analytics provider uses them as described below. You can refuse cookies in your browser settings, and the site can still be read without them.
Protection Against Automated Submissions
To protect the comment form from automated submissions, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile checks in the background whether the form is being sent by a person or by a program. To do this it processes your IP address, your browser’s identifying information and technical characteristics of your connection. This information is used only to recognise automated submissions. It is not used to identify you or to show you advertising. Details can be found in Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Analytics
Dream Oracle measures visits with Google Analytics. Google uses cookies to count how the site is used, such as which pages are read and for how long. More information is in Google’s explanation of how it uses data from partner sites.
Security
We take reasonable care to protect the information we receive. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

The site may contain links to other sites. These sites are not operated by us, and we have no control over their content or privacy practices. We advise you to read the privacy policy of every site you visit.
Children’s Privacy
Dream Oracle is not intended for anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has sent us personal information, we delete it.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page and take effect as soon as they are posted.
