Wilfred HaleMay your heart find peace in the movement of this dream, dear soul, as you contemplate riding an elevator. This dream speaks of the shifts in your life’s position that occur without the weight of your own labor. You find yourself moved through different levels of existence by a force that operates outside your direct control.
The movement within this dream shows how your place in the world moves through the turning of the world rather than through your own striving. This transition carries you along a current that flows beyond your own reach. Such a movement offers a stillness where you are neither climbing nor descending by your own hand. May you find trust in the motion of your life.
Using an elevator or being in a lift suggests a transition in your worldly status that arrives through external grace or chance. Because the movement is not earned by your own effort, the dream points to a period where your station is being adjusted by the unfolding of events.
Waiting for a lift or being in lifts signifies a state of suspension where your progress is momentarily held in check. This pause in your movement acts like a veil between what was and what will be, marking a time of patience while the world prepares your next step.
The experience of going down in an elevator carries the weight of a stumbling fall in your position. This descent reveals a time when your stability is shaken by a rapid change in your circumstances.
Being in an elevator with someone brings the presence of another into your changing circumstances. This detail suggests that your shifts in station are not solitary journeys, but are shared experiences that involve the lives and spirits of those around you.

Wilfred HaleInterpreter interprets your dreams
Peace to your evening, dear soul. A dream is like a lamp left in a window. It shows the shape of the room more than the shape of the night outside. What frightened you in it holds no weight of its own and may be set down at the door. Whatever was good in it can be kept and given thanks for. The rest can be trusted to the morning.
