Wilfred HaleMay the stillness of a returning heart find you in reversing a car. This dream concerns the way your current affairs are being retraced, as if the movement of your life is turning toward what has already passed.
The spirit retraces its steps, looking not to the horizon, but to the ground where you have already stood. This movement is a mirror of your inner turning, as you revisit the ground you once trod.
Dear soul, backing up a car suggests a gentle return to a place of familiarity, where the heart seeks the comfort of known truths.
A car driving backwards meets an unseen wall, making your attempt to return to what was lost a stumbling and difficult thing.

Wilfred HaleInterpreter interprets your dreams
Peace to your evening, dear soul. A dream is like a lamp left in a window. It shows the shape of the room more than the shape of the night outside. What frightened you in it holds no weight of its own and may be set down at the door. Whatever was good in it can be kept and given thanks for. The rest can be trusted to the morning.
