Wilfred HaleMay the stillness of your heart find peace in the shadow of this dream, dear soul. Killing a kitten in a dream speaks of a sudden, unintended silencing of the playful and curious spirit that seeks to explore the world with lightness. This act shows how the soul’s desire to wonder is broken by a heaviness it did not seek to hold.
The heart feels the grief of seeing the small, bright joys of the inner life vanish. You see how easily the spirit is wounded. There is a mercy found in knowing how easily the spirit breaks. There is a grace in seeing how much care your soul needs. May you find the gentleness required to nurture what is still soft within you.
Accidentally killing a kitten in a dream reveals that the loss of your inner joy comes not from malice, but from a lack of awareness in the rush of your days. This unintended movement shows how easily the spirit is bruised when one moves through the world without noticing the small, living things of the heart.
Drowning kittens in a dream changes the weight of the dream by suggesting that the light of curiosity is being overwhelmed by a vast and rising tide of emotion. This state indicates that the very things that should bring playfulness are being submerged by a depth of feeling that leaves no room for breath or lightness.

Wilfred HaleInterpreter interprets your dreams
Peace to your evening, dear soul. A dream is like a lamp left in a window. It shows the shape of the room more than the shape of the night outside. What frightened you in it holds no weight of its own and may be set down at the door. Whatever was good in it can be kept and given thanks for. The rest can be trusted to the morning.
