Wilfred HaleMay the arrival of a companion bring peace to your heart. Getting a dog in a dream often reveals a movement toward a new bond of loyalty or a call to be more watchful in your affections, dear soul. This dream shows your heart opening to a new friend or your spirit learning to guard what you love.
The presence of such a creature suggests that your spirit is preparing for a relationship that demands both care and constancy. This movement hardens your will to remain true to your word. May you walk in the light of this growing trust.
A gift of a dog changes the nature of the dream by suggesting that this new companionship is a grace received rather than a thing earned. Such a dream points to a kindness being extended to you from a source of providence, softening the effort of your own making.
When you go to find or purchase a new dog, your soul is actively reaching out to welcome a faithful presence into your life. This choice reveals a soul that is ready to tend to a new and living devotion.

Wilfred HaleInterpreter interprets your dreams
Peace to your evening, dear soul. A dream is like a lamp left in a window. It shows the shape of the room more than the shape of the night outside. What frightened you in it holds no weight of its own and may be set down at the door. Whatever was good in it can be kept and given thanks for. The rest can be trusted to the morning.
