Dream about flooding

May the peace of stillness find you, dear soul, in the midst of any storm. The flooding in this dream reveals how your inner world is currently spilling past the boundaries you have set for your heart. This movement of the spirit shows that the emotions you have held in check are now seeking an outlet, moving with a force that your usual defenses can no longer contain.

You find yourself overtaken by the weight of everything happening around you. The current of your life presses in from every side, leaving you to face the depth of what has been gathered. This time calls for your heart to rest in the truth of what is happening now. May you find a firm footing even when the waters are high.

Walking through floodwater shows that you are moving through your current sorrows with a slow and difficult step. This movement reveals that despite the heaviness of your heart, you continue to find a way to progress.

Driving into floodwater marks a moment where you are actively steering yourself into the center of a great hardship. This action suggests that you are heading toward the very heart of the difficulties that surround you.

A sudden surge of life’s many burdens is what the dream of a dam breaking and a flash flood signifies. The rupture in what once held your restraint brings a sharp sense of danger, as the suddenness of the change leaves little room for the soul to prepare for the surge.

The sight of rising floodwaters tells you that the pressures upon your spirit are increasing in intensity. You feel the weight of these circumstances climbing higher, demanding that you look at what is being stirred in your heart.
