Wilfred HaleMay the grace of peace attend you as you contemplate eating a snake. This dream, dear soul, shows you absorbing the very things that once sought to harm you. You are no longer running from what was hidden, but are instead taking what was sharp and making it part of your own life.
The process of eating a snake marks a turning toward a hard-won wisdom. You are making a part of your history a part of your substance, turning a source of treachery into a source of nourishment for your soul. This movement brings a stillness to the heart, for the danger is no longer outside of you, having been met and brought home. May your heart find rest in this integration.
Swallowing a snake signifies a complete victory over a former threat, as the act of bringing it down so deeply shows you have fully mastered the enmity that once troubled you.
When a snake is cooked, the sharpness of the danger is softened by preparation, suggesting that the bitterness you endure is being made manageable through a process of patience and care.
A dog or a cat eating a snake indicates that your loyalties or your cunning companions are the ones performing this work of removal, shifting the weight of this transformation onto those who walk beside you.

Wilfred HaleInterpreter interprets your dreams
Peace to your evening, dear soul. A dream is like a lamp left in a window. It shows the shape of the room more than the shape of the night outside. What frightened you in it holds no weight of its own and may be set down at the door. Whatever was good in it can be kept and given thanks for. The rest can be trusted to the morning.
