Wilfred HaleMay the stillness of your heart find its rest in the light of a new morning. To see cigarettes in a dream is to witness the ways in which the soul occupies itself with small, passing comforts that offer no lasting sustenance. This dream points to the tendency to spend the precious vitality of your inner life on things that vanish as quickly as they arrive.
The heart may find itself leaning upon these fleeting diversions to mask a deeper need for presence. These little things obscure the path to stillness and leave the soul wanting for bread. You possess the capacity to turn away from these transient shadows toward a more solid ground. May you find the strength to seek what is true and lasting.
The fragility of these small comforts is revealed when buying cigarettes, a broken cigarette, or eating cigarettes appear in a dream. Whether the pursuit is through acquisition, the encounter with something ruined, or a strange attempt to internalize the habit, the verdict remains that these are hollow efforts to satisfy the spirit. These actions show a scattering of your vital focus that brings no peace.
The sight of cigarette smoke in a dream is like a thin shroud that obscures the path of the heart. This haze makes the truth of your inner life harder to see.
When you are smoking a cigarette in a dream, you trade your vital spirit for a brief relief that leaves you empty. This movement of the spirit leaves you more depleted than when the dream began.

Wilfred HaleInterpreter interprets your dreams
Peace to your evening, dear soul. A dream is like a lamp left in a window. It shows the shape of the room more than the shape of the night outside. What frightened you in it holds no weight of its own and may be set down at the door. Whatever was good in it can be kept and given thanks for. The rest can be trusted to the morning.
