Wilfred HaleMay the stillness of a calm spirit greet you, dear soul, in the dream of being chased by a dog. This dream reveals a heart pressured by a loyalty that has turned sharp or a trust that no longer offers rest. Such a pursuit suggests that something once dependable now feels like a source of pursuit or distress.
The heavy side of this dream is that a bond once held dear now hunts you like a stranger. This movement toward you carries the shadow of a broken confidence that refuses to be ignored. Grace is present in the recognition of what is pressing against your spirit. May you find the stillness to meet what follows.
Chasing a dog, following a dog, or chasing dogs turns the direction of the pursuit toward an attempt to recover something lost. This movement shows the spirit working to mend a bond that has grown distant or cold.
Running away from a dog or running from a dog shows a heart attempting to distance itself from an unfriendliness that is plain to see. This flight signifies a desire to step away from a conflict that feels too heavy to face directly.
The sight of a dog chasing someone means a particular duty or a specific person now presses upon your life. This movement intensifies the feeling of being hunted by a duty or a relationship that has lost its warmth.

Wilfred HaleInterpreter interprets your dreams
Peace to your evening, dear soul. A dream is like a lamp left in a window. It shows the shape of the room more than the shape of the night outside. What frightened you in it holds no weight of its own and may be set down at the door. Whatever was good in it can be kept and given thanks for. The rest can be trusted to the morning.
