Wilfred HaleMay the tenderness of your first hopes be held in light, dear soul, as you see an animal attacking a child. This dream speaks of a sudden turning against the early hopes and tender intentions that dwell within. When such a force strikes at what is most innocent, it reveals a moment where a part of the spirit is being wounded by a harsh or selfish impulse.
The presence of this conflict marks a time of deep inner friction. A sudden shock of conscience may arise when one perceives how a burgeoning hope is being stifled by a more predatory instinct. There is a small light of awareness available to you now. May you find the strength to protect the small and growing things in your life.
A snake eating a child shows how a treachery might consume the very beginnings of a new hope. The way the creature swallows the small life suggests a greed that leaves no room for the future to unfold.
The way a snake biting a child or a dog biting a child strikes shows how a sharp wound can be dealt to your most vulnerable intentions. These dreams reveal how a betrayal, whether from a secret grudge or a trusted companion turned foe, strikes at the heart of your most vulnerable intentions.
Seeing an alligator eating a child or a crocodile eating a child reveals how a malice that remains out of sight can suddenly strike. This dream shows that a cruelty kept beneath the surface is actively quenching the very beginnings of your spirit’s growth.

Wilfred HaleInterpreter interprets your dreams
Peace to your evening, dear soul. A dream is like a lamp left in a window. It shows the shape of the room more than the shape of the night outside. What frightened you in it holds no weight of its own and may be set down at the door. Whatever was good in it can be kept and given thanks for. The rest can be trusted to the morning.
