Wilfred HaleMay the sweetness of your harvest find you, dear soul. A yam is the substance of what your spirit has gathered during long seasons of patience. This dream points to the fruits of your inner labors and the provision that grows in the stillness of your devotion.
The heart finds its strength when it gathers what the earth has slowly prepared. This dream shows a richness that exists within your life right now. May you find peace in the fullness of what has been given.
Harvesting yams makes the dream a sign of the joy that comes when the long waiting reaches its end.
The dream is strengthened when you are buying yam, selling yams, or receiving a yam, as these movements show the flow of providence in your life. Whether the gift is gathered from the earth, acquired through trade, or handed to you, the dream confirms that the means of your support are being actively provided.
A rotten yam changes the verdict of the dream because it signifies the sorrow of effort that has lost its vitality. This image reveals how a lack of care has allowed what was meant for good to wither.
In cooking yam, you find the way your heart softens to welcome the grace that has grown.
Eating a yam, transforms the symbol into a direct experience of communion. This action shows that the grace which has been growing is now being fully integrated into your being, much like light passing through a window at first light to warm a room.
Your soul is busy in the soil of your intentions when you are planting yams. This act of putting life into the earth is a sign of your trust in the ways of grace.

Wilfred HaleInterpreter interprets your dreams
Peace to your evening, dear soul. A dream is like a lamp left in a window. It shows the shape of the room more than the shape of the night outside. What frightened you in it holds no weight of its own and may be set down at the door. Whatever was good in it can be kept and given thanks for. The rest can be trusted to the morning.
