Wilfred HaleMay the peace of stillness find you, dear soul, as you contemplate the dream of a snake eating someone. This dream reveals a moment where an external enmity or a hidden malice seeks to consume the vital essence of your inner life. Such a process occurs when a shadow presence in your surroundings or within your own conscience draws upon your strength to sustain its own movement.
The heavy side of this dream is the sense of a life being diminished by what it sustains. You find yourself in a state where your substance is being used by a force that does not honor your spirit. Even as this happens, the dream brings the loss into your sight so that you may see it clearly. A small mercy resides in the recognition of where your energy is being lost. May you find the grace to reclaim what is yours.
Being swallowed by a snake, or a snake swallowing someone, deepens the sense of being overtaken by a force that leaves no room for your own breath. Such a closing in of the darkness suggests a malice that seeks to hold you fast in its grip.
The experience of getting eaten by a snake turns the dream toward a more direct confrontation with being consumed. This detail shifts the weight of the dream from a distant observation to a personal encounter with a force that actively devours your peace.

Wilfred HaleInterpreter interprets your dreams
Peace to your evening, dear soul. A dream is like a lamp left in a window. It shows the shape of the room more than the shape of the night outside. What frightened you in it holds no weight of its own and may be set down at the door. Whatever was good in it can be kept and given thanks for. The rest can be trusted to the morning.
