Wilfred HaleMay the stillness of your heart meet the light of truth in this dream of a gunshot. Dear soul, a gunshot in a dream arrives as a sudden breaking of the silence, signaling news that strikes the spirit with an unexpected force. This arrival of information compels a turning of the inner ear toward what is being whispered by the world.
The soul finds itself standing at a threshold where the quietude of contemplation is momentarily interrupted by a sharp truth. This suddenness serves to wake the conscience from its slumber, demanding a presence of mind that can hold the weight of what is heard. Such a dream offers the grace of a sudden awakening, allowing a person to meet the present moment with eyes wide and heart ready. May you find peace in the clarity that follows the sound.
A dream where you are dying from a gunshot carries a much heavier weight, for the shock of the event strikes the very core of your being rather than just reaching your ears. This experience is a complete yielding to a truth so great that it breaks the old life apart to make room for the new.
Hearing gunshots in a dream brings the feeling of a rumor drifting from a distance, which makes the uncertainty of what is coming feel even more unsettled. This subtle vibration of sound suggests that the truth is not yet fully present but is moving toward the heart through the air.

Wilfred HaleInterpreter interprets your dreams
Peace to your evening, dear soul. A dream is like a lamp left in a window. It shows the shape of the room more than the shape of the night outside. What frightened you in it holds no weight of its own and may be set down at the door. Whatever was good in it can be kept and given thanks for. The rest can be trusted to the morning.
