Wilfred HaleMay the light of truth soften your heart as you contemplate a devil. This dream reveals a presence of enmity that seeks to cloud the inner vision. When such a shadow appears, the spirit feels the weight of lies that pull the heart away from what is true.
The weight of this dream lies in how the soul meets this opposition. You may find that the darkness attempts to obscure your path, yet the very presence of the struggle confirms the existence of your own light. Trust remains in the heart even while the way is obscured. May you find stillness in the midst of the storm.
The soul finds itself in a deeper entanglement when sleeping with the devil or making a deal with the devil. You have let a shadow rest beside you, choosing a path that trades your peace for a deceptive ease.
A struggle or a meeting with the shadow, dear soul, shows a spirit that is not passive in the face of deceit. Fighting the devil or simply meeting the devil means that the enmity is recognized and met with the will, which turns the dream into a sign of active vigilance.
Being possessed by the devil, dear soul, describes a state where the command of your own faculties feels lost to an outside force. This loss of control happens when an impulse grows too heavy for the spirit to hold, leaving the heart in a state of great agitation.

Wilfred HaleInterpreter interprets your dreams
Peace to your evening, dear soul. A dream is like a lamp left in a window. It shows the shape of the room more than the shape of the night outside. What frightened you in it holds no weight of its own and may be set down at the door. Whatever was good in it can be kept and given thanks for. The rest can be trusted to the morning.
